Our Cabins, Bark 1 and Bark 2, are nestled up on a ridge tucked away in the trees. The cabins are a cozy, quiet place to escape.
Bark 1 has a beautiful view overlooking the creek below the ridge and fills with early light in the morning. There's also a patio set steps outside the front door to enjoy your coffee in the morning.
Bark 2 is tucked right in between the trees with the views out every window filled with glorious greenery. Bark 2 has a picnic table a few steps outside the door.
Both cabins are big favorites of our guests, but please be aware there is a steep hill to reach the Cabins, so it's not suitable for every guest. Our four-legged friends have no trouble scurrying to the top to investigate their new 'digs' but not every two-legged camper is comfortable with the steepness. There is a handrail along the side of the access trail to the cabins.
Cabins are ideal for guests bringing up to 2 dogs. If you have more than 2 medium sized dogs, please see the Cottages. There are two twin beds in each Cabin. Please note that if you are over 6 feet tall, we recommend you look at the Cottages which have a queen-sized bed (in addition to a twin).
Each cabin also has a loveseat, side tables, ceiling fan, reading lights, a drip coffeemaker and small refrigerator. The cabins do not have a bathroom. Bathroom facilities are a 3 minute walk away. At night you will need a flashlight or lantern to make your way to/from your cabin. To best prepare you for your stay, we highly recommend that you review our handy list of items to bring on our Guest Info page.
Our cottages, Bark 3 & Bark 4 are very spacious with plenty of room for everyone and every dog to really stretch out. Like the cabins, they are situated so that you can easily enjoy the gorgeous views yet be close enough to all the action with other dogs and people.
Bark 3 has lovely views up a scenic hill and is super convenient to trail access.
Bark 4 is located halfway up the hill, closer to the dining pavilion.
The Cottages are the prime choice for visiting campers who love a rustic experience with plenty of comfort, too. They are an ideal size for guests traveling with 2 or more dogs.
Cottages are furnished with a queen and a twin bed, dresser, side tables, dining set, loveseat and chaise lounge. Outside your door is a cafe dining set to enjoy your morning coffee. Cottages have electricity, ceiling fans, reading lights, coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The cottages do not have a bathroom. Bathroom facilities are a 3 minute walk away. At night you will need a flashlight or lantern to make your way to/from your cottage. Fresh water is brought to your quarters for you and your dog.
